Delete your old version, if you had one, then put this in the same place.

  • merged mutations should only show up once per run and be guaranteed unique
    • the code's kinda ugly though
  • added new options
    • the number of maximum weapon pickups and rads can be changed to help combat lag
    • a maximum distance with HP and ammo pickups is available, they will disappear when too far from a player
    • USE THESE OPTIONS AS A LAST RESORT FOR SOLVING PERFORMANCE HITS
  • updated fake mutations.mod.gml
    • mutations should no longer draw on the credits and win screen
    • added fake_skill_exists(skill)
      • checks if the skill is present in this mod's storage and it's a lightweight object
    • improved how mutations are selected
      • modded mutations actually get a chance now (I didn't test the old version)
      • Defpack 4's prismatic iris should no longer be broken
    • level generation should no longer change while this mod is active
    • skill events are now handled by the regular step event instead of a CustomStep's
  • updated fake crowns.mod.gml
    • custom crown selection with /fcrown should be better
    • added fake_crown_exists(crown)
      • it's like the other one, but for crowns
    • further improved crown train support
      • crown_take gets called on selection instead of the next level, so cool
    • level generation should no longer change when this mod is active
  • mutations persist better through mod reloads
  • mutations get reset internally every run
  • mutations are now generated in chunks
    • if you start a run, the first level up screen will have a slight lag spike
    • from then on, the amount generated in the chunk is 28 - existing amount
  • gamma guts can more reliably hit things
  • gamma guts' blast doesn't scale anymore
  • strong spirit can't replenish if you started the current level with full HP
  • patience-related things should be more reliable, maybe
  • crowns persist better through mod reloads
  • crowns get reset every run
  • the position of the crown that's all crowns at once should be constant
  • crown of destiny no longer waits for the next level to give a mutation
  • crown of death now copies explosions instead of creating them again
    • ever see an elite shielder fire green plasma?  that's fix
  • crown of guns drops guns occasionally from Throne I, Throne II, and the Captain's large projectiles
    • might help prevent softlocks?  some crown combinations are still doomed
  • crown of love no longer replaces portal strike canisters
  • loading tips are better now because they still combine when there's more than one base tip
  • updated custom options
  • various fixes (and new bugs) I may have missed
