2.0 excluding new stuff, final version (?)
It took longer than expected.
- mutations and crowns now use arbitrary precision math when generating
Piece counts are uncapped again. The generation is slower, but it won't be too bad if you keep things reasonable.
- new option: 9940 compatibility
When enabled, forces my mod to track mutation scaling. Doesn't play nice with other mods, but is necessary if you're not on 9941 or above. Consider a later NTT version if you wish to disable and keep things working fluidly.
- long arms now stretches melee attacks instead of speeding them up
It's kinda funny. Should be the same effect but work out nicer.
- new level-up menu scrolling
Instead of making mouse control near impossible, you can now use pages in the menu for crown selection or crazy amounts of anything else.
- the mutation HUD has been optimized further, should boost performance a lot
In my testing I was getting constant 30 FPS until about loop three. I honestly think the pickups and effects handled by the base game are the main issue now.
- the command for hiding the mutation HUD is back (now named /mhud)
- commands for checking the scaling of mutations and crowns are back (/mskill-scale, /mcrown-scale)
- reorganized some files (I hit the token limit with a library mod...)
- updated Custom Options
- many, many bug fixes
At the moment there's a Python file in the download named update.py. It contains a way to update with the itch.io butler, but I'm not the best with Python and I did the ignore flag wrong so it's included in this download. It'll be gone once I figure out the proper way to not have it upload. I managed to fix this minutes afterwards.
Please report any bugs you find. This is the last substantial ("substantial" because it took a lot of effort) update until I add the new content hinted at previously. It may come in batches, but there will only be minor bug fixes (if needed) until then.
