A few more bug fixes, and a status update


EDIT 6 DAYS LATER:

  • fixed a problem on non-beta Nuclear Throne Together where patience would error and make all future mutations do nothing
    • (it's not a fix I like, but it'll do for now since the error is out of my control)
  • fixed skill selection scrolling.mod.gml causing errors when viewing replays
  • corrected the mutation HUD drawing in co-op (it had the wrong offset for some player counts)

I've gone through a few revisions of what I have planned for the 2.0 content to be.  I'm learning a lot, but it'll take a while longer.

The plan is merged enemies in some form (only vanilla enemies I think, modded might be a pain), enemies inheriting your mutations (will they stack as much as yours?  will they have all of them or only a few?  time will tell), and some special projects being woven in that require me to learn how parsers and interpreters work.  I'm balancing this with many other things to try not to get easily burnt out.

  • fixed crown scaling not being reset when picking a new crown in the same run without crown train loaded
  • /mcrown-scale now says the input crown is "stacked 0 times" instead of "stacked undefined times"
  • fixed update checker timing out after 4 seconds instead of 2 minutes
  • prevented 9940_compatibility from turning on automatically when on 9941 (check that only works on >= 9944 was changed to a check that allows 9941 through)
  • arrays of strings check that their content is a string before using it (prevents errors with things like merged crown tips)
  • replaced squid scripts.mod.gml with tentacletech.mod.gml, a revision of the former mod
  • reverted an experimental change where script references were used over mod_script_call_nc when calling a script that's not built-in or imported
  • updated Custom Options to maybe be more performant (minor string handling changes, not getting its own post)

To reiterate: I have big plans.  They may take a while, but I believe I can do it.  It will likely only be bugs being fixed until I have a product I'm ready to share as far as new 2.0 content goes.
